Can You Use Revolut Without Wi-Fi? PROOF Inside
I recently switched to Revolut for all my spending and savings abroad, and I couldn’t be happier.
However, as a mobile bank, I know you think it can work without the internet. Finding a good connection in some countries like the Philippines and Indonesia can be challenging.
Don’t worry. I am here to answer your question.
You do not need an internet connection to use Revolut. Any payment terminal supporting Visa, MasterCard, or Apple Pay will work with Revolut, even without an internet connection or Wi-Fi on any supported mobile device.
Often I forget my iPhone when I go to the store and use Apple Pay on my Apple Watch, where it is accepted. You can see in the below photo I set my iPhone to airplane mode and paid with Revolut just fine in my YouTube video.
I only wished I had started to use Revolut sooner. They pride themselves in ‘one app for all things money.’ Trust me; you will not find a better option to spend your money abroad. I’ve tried many options, and nothing can compare.
